14 light bulbs are glued together, creating a the lamp. Imagine, if one bulb burns out, you unscrew the whole lamp and screw another bulb end in. With a life expectancy of two years per bulb, that would give the lamp a 28 year working life.

Technical modified!- or not? It seems that the bulbs are connected to each other with additional bases,-or having the capability to screw into a bulb housing in 3 different ways?
